We arrived back in the city just as it turned 2pm "what do you think Panthraz it's a lot different to that tiny town you've been living near" I asked him as I turned to face him, only he was gone "what where the hell..... how have we managed to lose a six foot panther" I asked as I turned to face Amda, my face dropped I turned white Amda was also gone "what not only have I lost a six foot panther I've also lost a six foot man they shouldn't be to hard to find..... I'll look for that stupid looking helmet that I'm secretly jealous of" I thought to myself. I started looking, I looked everywhere this way and that only to find them peering through a window of an all you can eat restaurant "men I should of known they'd get distracted by there stomachs" I sighed to myself as I stormed over to them
"hoy you two you can't just disappear like that, come on we should go" I scolded them
they both turned to me drooling
"we're sorry it just everything in there looks sooo good and I can't remember the last time I ate" Panthraz apologised
"we don't have time it'll be getting dark soon......." grrrr I turned bright red
"sounds like me and Panthraz aren't the only ones who are hungry" Amda laughed
"....mmmm fine I guess having a decent meal wouldn't be such a bad thing" I agreed.
After almost three hours of watching Amda and Panthraz wage an eating war the owner kicked us all out
"I can't believe you two got us kicked out of an all you can eat for eating too much, I've never seen anyone eat so much I would of kick you out hours ago" I told them we all began to laughed when suddenly Panthraz stopped
"what's wrong" I ask him
"I have this horrible feeling....." he said looking spooked
"what's the date" Amda said sounding worried
"30th of October why" I asked curiously
"oh no that's very bad the restaurant didn't kick us out for eating too much he kicked us out so he could get to the guild before they seal the gates come on we have to hurry" Amda yelled back at us as he sprinted away
"what's with him" I asked Panthraz
only to find him missing once again I looked round and saw him running after Amda
"hey wait for me" I yelled to them as I raced to catch up Amda and Panthraz. Panthraz and Amda finally came skidding to a halt outside the gate to the hall and I finally managed to catch up in time to hear Amda yelling and rattling the gate
"hey let us in, please there is'nt much time!" Amda screamed fear filling his voice
"sorry Amda you know the rules the gates get sealed as soon as the sun falls any one still out side is on there own" a voice reminded him from with in the hall
"come on it hasn't started raining yet there's still time, please!" Amda begged
"sorry Amda rules are rules it's just to risky I suggest you find somewhere to hide befor the storm" the voice apologised
Amda yelled out "ahhhh fine come on the inn isn't far we should be safeish in there, come on hurry before it starts raining!" off he ran towards the inn Panthraz close behind him I looked up at the beautiful clear sky "rain?" I said to myself then suddenly out of nowhere it began to rain hard I got soaked almost instantly a grate clap tore through the rain then a massive flash lit the sky I ran to catch up, as I was running I could see a strange woman dressed in a white tattered dressed water cascading down her body and long black hair the water seamed unnatural as if someone was above her pouring a bucket of water onto her head, she stood motionless facing away from me I wanted to shout over to her but something inside told me not to so I kept running. We all fell into the inn from running so fast Amda scrambled to his feet and slammed the door shut
"come on we need light quickly before they get in" Adma yelled frantically still completely confused I snapped my fingers and a ball of fire appeared in my hand
"perfect can you make it brighter while I get the main fire burning the brighter it is the better" he instructed
as he rushed around I snapped the fingers on my other hand and made another ball of fire appeared I toughed the two flames together to get them bigger and brighter
"stop running around like a headless chicken and get out of the way" I yelled to Amda
Amda stopped in his tracks and looked at me I thrust both my arms out the fire that was in a ball was now shooting across the room into the fire pit then with a lasso like movement of my right arm the fire wiped around the room lighting every wall torch with one more snap the fire was gone leaving the torch and fire pit lit Amda stared open mouthed for awhile then he to start securing the shutters.
Panthraz looked at me sheepishly "what's wrong" I asked him
"thank Leo for your power of fire, is very impressive and much appreciated I'm cold and wet" he said gratefully as he came over to sit next to the fire
"hey how come your dry?" he asked
"I can use my fire to warm myself just enough to dry me here I'll show you" I told him as I put both my hands on his chest
"now be very still and quiet I've never done this on some one else before" I informed him Panthraz froze a look of concern on his face my eyes began to glow white as I activated my power a look of deep concentration covered the rest of my face suddenly Panthraz's fur went poof
"there you go" I chuckled he looked confused
"what?" he asked
"What happens when you dry fur with warm air...... poof" I laughed he scowled at me and looked in the first reflective surface he could find
"oh grate my furs all poofy now I look ridiculous" he grumbled my eye's little white as I made a ball of fire, the flame morphed and danced then became a hair brush with a wave it the air it became a solid wooden hair brush "here" I said as I through it to him, he caught it like a hot potato
"don't worry it's not hot" I informed him he smiled and began to brush his fur,
"ok all done it should be safe enough in here now just don't open any doors or windows" Amda said as he sat by the fire to rest
"hey there's a woman out there staring at us" the woman was dressed the same as the last the one I saw earlier but this one had long blond hair water cascading down her grey skin her eyes had dark circles under them, she looked sombre as she stood out in the rain I began to feel an irresistibly urge to go out to her, her dark grey eyes call to me
"stop ,what are you doing, don't look at them" Amda yelled as he pulled me away from the small hole in the shutters
"what?.....what is going on who are they" I asked demanding an answer
"the city is cursed, as your probably aware in dark ages witches where highly feared and any women believe to be a witches would ether be burned at the stake, drowned or hung this town had the biggest church of that era, priests would come from miles around to be part of it back then this city was known as the holy capital it was believe to be the purest place in the country because of this anyone thought to be a witch would be brought here to be tortured and then execution by drowning we have the biggest number of execution held at 10,000 and that's only the ones who got recorded most of which died before there trill ether from the unsanitary conditions in there cells of from been tortured to death that's actually how the town got the name Mystwitcha the last witch killed in the town cursed the city for 24 hours from 12am to 12am on all hallows eve when the vale between worlds is weak we will rise with a furious storm until the day we receive justice for the atrocity committed against me and my sisters." Amda explained
"eerrm Amda where's Panthraz" I asked spooked we both looked around the room till we noticed the door was wide open the wind and heavy rain howled through it causing the door to swing and slam violently we both turned our heads slowly to faced each other......
